Greetings. My name is John and I have taught Latin (levels 1, 2, 3, 4, and AP) for 21 years. In addition to teaching Latin, I have been the sponsor of my schools' chapters of the Junior Classical League and have served as the vice-president of the Classical Association of Florida. I have been fortunate enough to always teach a full schedule of Latin and I am happy to say our program at Plant High School continues to grow. I have played a roll in developing the curriculum for my school district and I hope to continue playing a leading role in expanding the reach of the Classics for many years to come.

My teaching approach is blend of rigor and practicality. I should also add that I like a good joke as well. While some find memorizing case and verb endings to be tedious, it is really the only way to unlock the language. I will bring a variety of approaches to the table and do my very best to find the one that suits you.
