Laine is a veteran teacher with years of experience in every grade level. She started her teaching career as a university tutor where she received the school's Tutor of the Year Award. Later, Laine earned a Master's degree in Spanish teaching from Rutgers University. Her teaching philosophy is to make Spanish relatable, practical, and engaging. Laine enjoys talking grammar just as much as she does Latin American culture and arts. She teaches standard Spanish, but colloquially is most familiar with Colombian Spanish. Having taught Spanish levels I - IV and numerous pieces from the AP Spanish Lit list, Laine is ready to tackle your curious questions and confusions!
