I hold a state teacher certification for teaching secondary mathematics (grades 6-12). In addition, I have a National Board Certification in the area of teaching Adolescent and Young Adulthood Mathematics. I have an undergraduate degree in Management (Business) from the US Air Force Academy having been named a Distinguished Graduate (Summa Cum Laude), and a master's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of South Alabama with a perfect GPA. I have been named or nominated for Teacher of the Year in every year that I have been teaching.

I have experience as a military officer (5 years), and as a certified teacher (the last 8 years). I love working with young people and making math come alive.
