All students can achieve their potential, given the proper support and learning environment. I create these conditions by connecting course topics to daily life experiences, by making learning fun, and by creating a learning environment where students feel safe to take academic risks.

I hold bachelor's and master's degrees in chemistry and am certified to teach general science, chemistry, and mathematics. In 15 years of teaching, I have taught sciences and math from elementary to university level, including basic high school physics and International Baccalaureate (IB) physics. I've taught AP and IB math, chemistry, physics, and theory of knowledge, and I draw from all of them to create connections for students that help them learn and retain content.
