Pick a tutor

Work with our concierge to find the perfect tutor: a great teacher who can connect with your student, explain content clearly, and motivate them to succeed. 

Choose from teachers of the year, Ivy League graduates, AP graders, and educators with 20 years of experience.

Create an account

Create an account and subscribe for a set number of credits that your student can use to book sessions with.  These credits don't expire, and they provide  tailored support for students, ensuring they receive precisely the right amount of assistance, no more and no less.

Work with
your tutor

Book an intro session, to meet your tutor. Then schedule a longer session to help get you caught up. If you have questions during the week, need clarification, or want your work checked, you can schedule a short session with your tutor. All sessions will be online via Zoom.

Hi and welcome to Superstudy!

I’m Brenna Mahoney and I manage Superstudy Scituate.  I’m a Scituate resident, a mom to two boys, and I’ve been in special education for over 15 years. I'm excited to introduce you to Superstudy because of the way we uniquely support students and their families. 

Our model provides a routine, structure, as well as flexibility that supports the executive functioning needs of students outside of the school day.  Our model builds and strengthens student's daily habits in the areas of time management, organization and self-regulation.  

 

As a teacher and parent, I saw the toll that homework takes on students.  I saw how so many kids who were initially successful in the classroom, struggled with their work at home and as a result fell behind some of their peers.   In theclassroom teachers can explain, motivate, and reinforce, but at home, so many students were alone, confused, and anxious with an average of 2.7 hours of homework every night.   I saw this first hand with my own kids.

Superstudy changes this model by using expert teachers to support students and by making those teacher-tutors available every school night.  Students can ask their favorite tutor for help when they need it, for as little as 10 minutes or as long as 60.  It's a model that is flexible enough to support the daily academic needs of every student.  Contact me below, so that we can talk about how our amazing tutors can support your student.
