I hold a BS in Mathematics and California Single Subject (Math) Teaching Credential from CSULB. I have been a math classroom teacher for 20 years, as well as an after school tutor for Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, and Precalculus. I love to work one-on-one with students in order to customize a unique learning plan, as well as to empower them to have the confidence to pursue any mathematical problem. My philosophy is that anyone and everyone is capable of being a successful mathematics student. I am a patient, experienced, and knowledgeable tutor who can explain difficult math topics in several different ways, until it “clicks” for the student.
