She then pursued her Bachelor's and Masters degrees and a career in education. She has continued to tutor students grades K - college in math, science, Spanish, reading, organizational skills and executive function skills. Ms. Belvin is well-versed in a wide variety of approaches to math skills and knows that we all think and process differently. She works with each student to identify the optimum path for that student to solve a problem. Ms. Belvin focuses on the neural development that math fosters, helping each person to achieve their maximum potential.

I have a Bachelor of Science in mathematics (I was so surprised by this because I thought I was bad a math when I was young), and a Master of Education from the University of Washington. In addition to having my WA teaching license, I also have 18 graduate credits in pure and applied mathematics, such as statistical analysis. I have been teaching math for over 7 years now, ranging from middle school to college level math classes, such as Calculus and Statistics. I absolutely love building student confidence, reasoning, and problem-solving ability. It absolutely empowers the student when this happens, which is why I went into teaching.

My name is Joe Lentino. I have been teaching and coaching for 27 years. During that time, I have had the opportunity to teach every mathematics course (except for AP Stats) from 6th grade math to Calculus 2 at two local community colleges.
